Apple begins in 2017 to mitigate the production of the iPhone 7 to 10 percent. This could have to do with the relatively slow sales of the device. Meanwhile, Apple is not getting dragged the AirPods.
Production iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus reduced
The rumor about the iPhone 7 declining production comes from Nikkei, which relies on data collected from suppliers. Because the slow sales of the iPhone 7 would be the cause, it is expected that Apple essentially reverses the production of 7 and 7 Plus.
The decision is notable because Apple would have to avoid all this taken. There were generally less iPhone 7s of the conveyor rollers have come to create a stock that way that continues to accumulate. Sales are going so slow, however, that Apple still has to slow production.
Meanwhile, it is a world of difference in the factory which produces AirPods. The recently released wireless earbuds were generally very positive reviews (including ours) and opinion appear to share its consumers. Therefore, its production would be increased, so that can meet the high demand.
AirPods not dragging
This ties in with a remark that Tim Cook made a few days ago. He called the AirPods a “runaway success” and that Apple is doing its best to make them as fast as they can. The iPhone 7 or perhaps was not the Christmas present that should have been it, a set AirPods under the tree still made for good holidays at Apple.
